| | Instructions for Backing-up Your Computer Files.- Double-click on My Computer and go to the location of your target files on the C:/ drive.
- On the Windows desktop you will see an icon called Briefcase. Open the Briefcase icon on the desktop by double-clicking on it.
- Click the Next button.
- Select and drag the files from your hard drive into the Briefcase window.
- Now, drag this Briefcase icon onto your floppy disk under My Computer.
- When you need to work on your files away from your home computer, access the copy of these files within the Briefcase.
- When you come back home, insert your disk with the Briefcase in it, double-click the Briefcase icon to open it, then choose Update All from the tool bar. Your files on the hard disk and the floppy disk will begin synchronizing.
- If you do any work with these same files on your hard drive, insert your floppy disk as in #7 above and synchronize the files. This is the best method for backing up your files for your English course.
