Document Template

You are required to use the document template for your English 218 course.  Use this template for all writing assignments you turn in this semester.  Download the template, immediately save it to your C:\ drive; then, print out and follow the directions for personalizing the template.  If the Web server responds with a login screen either as you are downloading or when you are saving the file to your hard disk, just ignore it and click "Cancel".  Be sure to make a backup on a floppy disk.

Select the correct format for your word processing software:

Microsoft Word (compatible with all versions of Word) 218template.doc (26KB)
Microsoft Works (made from the Word template; pages in the header mode may not work) 218templateWorks4.wps (11KB)
Word Perfect (made from the Word template; pages in the header mode may not work) 218templateWP.doc (8KB)
Rich Text Format (RTF) (Use this format if all others do not work.  RTF is a generic, universal text format that all word processors can read.  Made from the Word template; pages in the header mode may not work) 218templateRTF.rtf (11KB)
