NOCCCD STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM

Advice from the FC Financial Aid website:

"DO NOT disqualify yourself!  Everyone should apply for financial aid.  If your family’s income is too high, you may not receive need-based aid.  However, you might qualify for scholarships, employment opportunities, or low-interest federal loans."

Financial Aid Tips:

I've gathered some information about various forms of financial aid that might help some of you.  The following are some aid opportunities that you might qualify for.

  1. Go to the Fullerton College financial aid website to learn about different forms of financial aid.
  2. Complete your online FAFSA application.  It is the quickest way to check your eligibility for financial aid.
  3. Apply for the California Chafee Grant.
  4. Apply for a Board of Governor's Fee Waiver (BOGFW) to cover costs of tuition and parking fees.
  5. Apply for a Fullerton College Foundation Scholarship(Though this money is to be used for the Fall and Spring semesters, it may help you offset future costs as a result of attending the Study Abroad trip to China.)
  6. Orange County Community College Foundation: You will see dozens of scholarship opportunities that still have current deadlines.  Most require you to be an OC resident.
