Welcome to the English 100 course website.

Quick Reminders:
WEEK 16
  • Research Paper Due by start of class (7 p.m.): Please remember to submit your paper and all your sources in a manila folder that has your name on it.  Your Works Cited list will have all the sources you cited in your essay.  Remember to copy and paste the sources and the annotations from your Annotated Bibliography assignment into your Works Cited page (making whatever modifications are necessary if you add or delete sources). Added sources will require an annotation just like the rest.
  • TII: As always, be sure to submit your research paper to TII by midnight the day of class.
  • Take-home Final Exam: After submitting your research paper, we will go over the Take-home final exam assignment.  It is due next week.
  • Class Duration: This week, class will get out early, at approximately 7:45 p.m., so you may need to arrange for a early ride.

Email Reminders:

Check your email daily to ensure you do not miss critical class updates.

In addition to the subject of your email, ALWAYS put English 100 Alpha or English 100 Beta in the subject line; otherwise, your mail will be deleted since my mail filters will treat it as junk mail/spam.

For student-right-to-privacy reasons, if you send me email from an account other than your own, I will not respond to it because I do not know for sure that it is your private account.  This is to protect my students' privacy and to ensure their confidentiality.

Always sign your email, and always put a note in the body of your email; I don't know how to respond to blank messages.
